Velvet Sky of Magic

I whisper my love
And give it to the wind
Hoping it will carry it to your heart

I hear a bell
Announcing my intentions
Declaring the love that beats
Deep within my being

The wind blows slowly, softly
Calming my nerves
My restless heart

The swaying of the branches
Like the dancing of our souls.
Star lit nights, above the distant unknown

We tap into the rhythm of the heart
Passions ours, not misgivings

Shooting stars across the rich velvet sky
Like the crossing paths of lovers
One moment is all it takes
To embrace the magic.
